Double Take

When you’re about to air an advertisement on a local radio station, you might notice that a large portion of the ads that are running on that station, perhaps even in your market, may use the same voices to record the voice over on the commercials.

Have We Met?

This isn’t surprising considering the fact that voice over services of the on-air talent who work for a radio station are often included in advertising packages sold by the station.

At the end of their shift it isn’t unusual for an on-air personality to be assigned a few voice over scripts that need to be recorded. After a very quick read through of the copy, the personality will record the voice over, save their work and then go home.

No wonder many of the advertisements that run on a local radio station sound familiar!

Break the Mold

If you want your voice over to be unique, have a national sound and be recorded by a voice actor, it may be time to consider hiring professional freelance voice over talent to record your radio commercial.

No Need to Reinvent the Wheel

The latest trend in voice casting is to outsource voice over work directly to professional voice talent online. This is smart for a number of reasons (cost savings, creative control, quick turnaround, etc.) and it’s also easy to do.

This site has amazing talent who can get the job done for you quickly. Just listen to their voice samples and contact the pro whose voice best meets your needs.
